Before You Join Us

I’m really looking forward to welcoming you to the farm and sharing this time together in nature.
To help everything run smoothly, here are a few gentle guidelines to be aware of before you arrive.

Cancellations

Plans can change, and that’s completely understood.
If you need to cancel, a full refund is available with at least four weeks’ notice. Cancellations made 2–4 weeks before your course will receive a 50% refund.
Unfortunately, cancellations within two weeks of the course are non-refundable.
Where possible, I may be able to offer a transfer to a future date, depending on availability.

The Setting

The farm is a peaceful, natural space set on a hill, with uneven and sometimes muddy ground underfoot.
Because of this, it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.
Very occasionally, if the weather makes it unsafe to be outside, I may need to cancel at short notice.

Allergies & Sensitivities

If you have any allergies, dietary needs, or sensitivities (including animals, bites, or stings), please let me know beforehand so I can support you as best as I can.

What to Wear & Bring

Being comfortable outdoors makes all the difference.
Please come dressed for the weather, as it can shift throughout the day.
Sturdy footwear such as walking boots, strong trainers, or wellies is essential.
On warmer days, you may wish to bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and insect repellent.

Dogs

As much as they are loved, dogs aren’t able to join us during the sessions.

Plant Awareness

During our time together, I’ll gently introduce you to a selection of edible plants.
Please don’t eat anything unless I’ve confirmed it is safe.
Once you return home, only consume anything you are completely confident in identifying, and always try a small amount first, as everyone’s body responds differently.

Tynton Farm Therapies cannot be held responsible for any reactions or illness resulting from foraged items.

Your Wellbeing

The walk is designed to be gentle and nourishing.
Please take care of your own pace, and only do what feels comfortable for you.
If there’s anything you’d like me to be aware of beforehand, you’re very welcome to share.

Your Details

Your personal details are held safely and used only to manage your booking.
From time to time, you may receive updates about future gatherings, and you can opt out at any point.

Being on the Land

We’ll be moving through a natural environment, where the ground can be uneven.
You are responsible for taking care while you’re here and moving in a way that feels safe for you.

Weather

We’ll usually go ahead in all kinds of weather, as this is part of the experience.
If conditions become unsafe, I may need to cancel. In this case, you’ll be offered a transfer or a voucher for a future session.

A Gentle Note

By booking and attending, you’re agreeing to take part in a way that feels right for your body, and to follow any guidance shared during the session.
While every care is taken to create a safe and supportive space, Tynton Farm Therapies cannot accept responsibility for injuries, losses, or reactions experienced during or after your visit.
If you’re unsure whether this experience is right for you, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to have a chat.
